Find anything with search and shortcuts

Jump to any site, page or action with Cmd-K, switch sites in one click, and turn on dark mode.

Search: Cmd-K or Ctrl-K

Press ⌘ K on a Mac or Ctrl K on Windows and Linux, or click Search in the top bar. You can also press / when you’re not typing in a field. A box opens: “Jump to a site, page or action…”.

Start typing, use ↑ and ↓ to move, ↵ (Enter) to open, and esc to close. It finds:

  • Sites: each of your sites, by name or address. Once you type, you also get “{site} · Install” and “{site} · Settings” to go straight there.
  • Go to: All sites, Your account, Security, Email notifications and Workspace settings.
  • Actions: Add a site, Switch to dark theme (or light), and Sign out.
  • This page: on a site’s stats, Show today, Show last 7 days and Show last 30 days.

It also understands everyday words: typing “password” or “2fa” finds Security.

Search finds places in Crustat. It doesn’t search inside your stats. To find a page or a country in your numbers, open See all on a list card and use its search box.

Team and Plan & billing aren’t in search. Find them in the account menu (the round button with your initial, top right).

Switch sites

  • The site menu at the top lists every site, with a search box. Picking another site keeps you on the same tab and range, so you can compare sites quickly. It also has All sites and Add a site.
  • The arrows next to a site’s name (“2 of 5”) step through your sites in order, and loop back at the end.
  • The [ and ] keys do the same: previous and next site.

Other keys on the stats page

  • Arrow keys move between tabs, between the bars of a chart, and between rows of a list. Home and End jump to the first and last.
  • On a chart, each bar is read out as you move, so the stats work with a screen reader too.

Dark mode

Click the sun or moon button in the top bar (Switch to dark mode / Switch to light mode), or use the search action. Until you pick, Crustat follows your device’s setting. The choice is saved in this browser only, so another computer keeps its own.

Share images are always light, whatever you pick. See Share your stats.

Add Crustat to your home screen

On a phone, use your browser’s Add to Home Screen (Safari: the share button; Chrome: the menu). Crustat then opens like an app, full screen, from its own icon. It needs an internet connection, like the website.
