Your account settings

Change your name and password, sign out of other devices, pick your emails, and set your workspace's name and clock.

Where they are

Open the account menu (your initial, top right). It lists Your account, Email notifications, Workspace settings, Team and Plan & billing. They all open one Settings page with two groups:

You: Profile, Security and Email notifications. These are yours alone.
Your workspace’s name: General, Team and Plan & billing. These are shared by everyone in the workspace.

On a phone, the sections sit in a row you can scroll sideways.

Profile

Name: how your team sees you. Edit it and press Save.
Email: the address you sign in with. You can’t change it here; to change it, write to hello@crustat.com.

Security

Change password: type your Current password and a New password of at least 10 characters. Changing it signs you out on your other devices.
Add a password: shown instead if you sign in with Google. It lets you sign in with your email too. For safety, you need to have signed in within the last day; if not, sign out, sign in again with Google, and add it then.
Two-step sign-in: see turn on two-step sign-in.
Sign out or Sign out everywhere: the second one signs you out on every device at once, which is handy after using a shared computer or losing a laptop.

Crustat doesn’t list your devices one by one. Sign out everywhere covers them all.

Forgot your password? On the sign-in page, press Forgot your password? and Crustat emails you a reset link that works for one hour. Resetting it signs you out everywhere else.

Email notifications

Turn on email reports and traffic alerts. Each person picks their own, and the choices apply to the workspace you’re in.

Workspace: General

Workspace name: how the workspace shows up for everyone in it, in invitations and in email reports. Your company or brand works well. Up to 60 characters.
Time zone: the clock for days and hours on every site, unless a site picks its own. See add and manage your sites.
Leave this workspace: for admins and viewers. See invite your team.

Only owners and admins can change the name and time zone. Viewers see them but can’t edit.

Team and Plan & billing have their own pages: invite your team and plans, trial and billing.

Light or dark

Press the sun or moon button in the top bar to switch between light and dark. You can also press ⌘K (or Ctrl K) and choose Switch to dark theme. Crustat remembers the choice in that browser. Until you pick, it follows your device’s setting.

Add Crustat to your home screen

On a phone, use your browser’s Add to Home Screen option on app.crustat.com. Crustat then opens like an app, in its own window. It needs a connection to show your stats.

Closing your account

There’s no button to delete your account in the dashboard. Write to hello@crustat.com and a real person will help. To remove a single site and its stats, see delete a site.
