Is there a free plan?
No, but every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, and you don't need a card to start.
What happens when the trial ends?
Crustat keeps counting your visitors, so you lose nothing. To see your stats again, choose a plan. Everything collected since you started is waiting for you.
What if I don't choose a plan?
Two months after your first site is connected, an unpaid account is deactivated: Crustat stops counting and your data is deleted within 90 days. We email you before that happens.
What is a pageview?
One page opened by one visitor. If someone reads three pages on your site, that's three pageviews.
Do clicks and custom events use up my plan?
Yes. Each page view, outbound click, file download and custom event uses one from your monthly allowance. Bot traffic and the time-on-page signal never do.
What if I go over my plan?
We never stop counting and never charge extra by surprise. If you go over for two months in a row, we'll ask you to move to the next plan.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes, any time from your dashboard. Moving up takes effect straight away; moving down or cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for.
Do I need a cookie banner because of Crustat?
No. Crustat sets no cookies and stores nothing on your visitors' devices, so it doesn't need a banner. Other tools on your site, like ads or embedded videos, might still need one.
Do I need a developer to set it up?
No. You paste one line into your site's settings, or install the plugin for WordPress or Shopify in a few clicks.
