Share your stats
Send a read-only link to a client or partner, or make an image of your numbers to post anywhere.
Two ways to share
- A read-only link: a web address that shows a site’s stats to anyone who has it, with no sign-in. Good for a client, a partner, or the whole world.
- A share image: a picture of your headline numbers and chart, to post or drop into a message.
To give someone their own sign-in instead, invite them to your team. See Invite your team.
Make a read-only link
- Open your site and go to Site settings → Sharing.
- In Share a read-only link, click Make a link.
- Click Copy and send it to whoever needs it.
The link looks like https://app.crustat.com/share/…. Each site has one link at a time. Making links and stopping them is for the workspace’s owners and admins. Viewers can copy a link that already exists.
What people see on the link
The page shows the site’s name and address, a Read-only view badge, and the same Overview you see: the summary, the five numbers, the chart, the four lists and the busy-hours grid. They can switch between Today, 7 days and 30 days, and between light and dark.
They don’t see anything else: no settings, no other sites, and none of the other tabs (Goals, Events, Paths, Search, History). The domain menu isn’t there either, so the link always shows all of the site.
Before the site’s first visit, the page says “No visits yet” and fills in as soon as the first one arrives.
Change or stop the link
The link has no end date and no password. It keeps working until you change it:
- Make a new link: the old link stops working and a new one takes its place. Use this when a link went further than you meant.
- Stop sharing: after you confirm, the link stops working and there’s none until you make another.
Anyone who opens an old link sees “This link doesn’t work any more”. Deleting the site stops its link too.
Make a share image
- On the site’s Overview, pick the range you want.
- In the corner of the numbers card, click Share today, Share this week or Share this month (the name follows the range).
- Click Copy image or Download PNG.
The image is 1200 × 630 pixels, a size that fits most social posts. It shows your domain, the period, visitors, page views, bounce rate and session time with their change, and the visitors chart, always in light colours.
The image is made right in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. If your browser can’t copy images, Download PNG still works.
