Crustat for Astro
A small package you add to your Astro project yourself, built for developers who like to keep things simple.
Set it up in three steps
- 1
Add the package
Add the Crustat package to your Astro project: npm install @crustat/astro (or your usual package manager).
- 2
Add the component
Import Crustat from @crustat/astro and place it in your layout's <head>, so it loads on every page.
- 3
Add your site ID
Pass the site ID from your Crustat dashboard to the component, and you're done.
Why it fits
-
Fits an Astro project
It's a small package added the same way you add any other Astro integration.
-
No script tag to manage
The component takes care of loading Crustat, so you don't paste or maintain a script tag yourself.
-
Stays out of the way
It's tiny, smaller than a single small image, so it doesn't affect your site's speed.
Questions
Do I still need to paste a script tag?
No. The component handles that for you, once it's in your layout.
Does it work with server-rendered and static Astro sites?
Yes. The component works the same way whichever rendering mode your Astro project uses.
Where do I find my site ID?
In your Crustat dashboard: open your site, then Install. It's next to the line to paste.
