Terms of Use
Crustat (“the app”) is a free macOS application made available from crustat.com. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. The app is provided free of charge
Crustat is offered at no cost. There is no subscription, account, or payment, and no obligation of continued availability, support, or updates.
2. Provided “as is”, without warranties
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. You use the app entirely at your own risk.
3. No guarantee of accuracy
Crustat reads usage data from your machine and from Anthropic’s API and presents it for convenience. The figures shown — token counts, rate-limit percentages, reset times, and status — are best-effort and may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. Do not rely on them for billing, compliance, or any decision with material consequences. Always confirm against Anthropic’s official tools.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the author of Crustat shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the app — including any loss of data, interruption, or reliance on the information it displays.
5. Not affiliated with Anthropic
Crustat is an independent, unofficial tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic. “Claude” and “Claude Code” are trademarks of Anthropic. Your use of Claude Code and Anthropic’s API remains governed by Anthropic’s own terms, and you are responsible for complying with them.
6. Updates
The app may check for and install updates automatically to keep you on the latest version. Updates are subject to these same terms.
7. Changes to these terms
These terms may be revised from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
